New MailChimp Landing Pages!
Landing Page? Why would I want one?
If you are looking to increase conversion rates and streamline your marketing, a landing page is a great way to go.
A landing page is essentially a stand-alone web page that serves the purpose of converting leads. It can provide visitors to your site with an introductory page that matches your promotional message. New or existing clients will “land” on this page when they click through from an ad, email, or other digital promotion.
Landing pages allow you to direct your viewer to a singular focus such as downloading your ebook or signing up to be first to hear about new offers.
It’s important to note that the promotion has to be enticing enough for them to exchange their details for your offer.
Not every page of your website will represent your current conversion goals. Links and pages about other products and offers can be distractions, diluting your message and reducing your conversion rate.
Compare the idea of sending visitors to your home page vs sending them to a custom designed landing page.
Your homepage has been designed to be welcoming to the widest audience. While full of great information it will speak only in general terms and have links to parts of the website that may have little or no relevance to the campaign you are presently running.
A landing page becomes a friendly and helpful introduction that delivers the client just the right information for their needs and doesn’t distract them from signing up for your offer by all the other awesome stuff on your website.
In addition to their email campaign builder, MailChimp has recently added landing pages to their repertoire. Users can now create their own landing pages with a few clicks of a button for free!
For those that aren’t familiar with MailChimp, it is a great marketing tool for sending promotional emails, automated messages, and targeted campaigns. It allows you to set up subscriber profiles, as well as personalise and automate mailing lists and lead collection and you should be using it.
