Client Story: Tint n Windows
Window of Opportunity
There’s no doubt we are blessed with an amazing climate here on the Sunny Coast, but with that often comes expensive power bills to keep the soaring temperatures down in our homes and offices. But did you know there’s an affordable way to help cut down the heat and glare and it doesn’t have to cost the Earth?
Meet husband and wife team Shannon and Brad Seipolt, who are experts when it comes to helping people improve their lifestyle by providing the perfect window tinting solution to ensure a comfortable indoor environment for the whole family.
With a long history in the industry, Brad has been working in the family business as long as he can remember.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Brad opened his own tinting business in Airlie Beach in 2009 and moved to the Sunshine Coast three years ago with Shannon. The couple, who now have two young children Oliver, two, and Georgia, five months, opened Tint N Windows in 2016, providing window film exclusively for commercial and residential buildings, servicing the Sunshine Coast from Pelican Waters to Tewantin.
“Brad encouraged me to learn the craft as well, so I also work in the business,” says Shannon.
“It is a very specialised skill, it takes time and experience, it’s certainly not something anyone can do. With over a decade in the industry, we offer our customers the expertise and service they deserve.
“As a family run business, Tint N Windows focus on customer service and good old fashioned values, where you deal directly with the owners for that one-on-one personalised service.
“We are really focused on customer service and old fashioned values. It’s the small things that really add up in the end.”
Apart from keeping the heat and glare out during the summer months, Shannon says adding a film to your windows also keeps the heat in during the winter months, adding value to your home and providing extra privacy.
“We’ve noticed a peak in those newer development areas where the homes tend to be a little closer to their neighbours and people are seeking tinting for privacy,” says Shannon.
With a range of different tints available designed to suit a diverse range of needs, Shannon says one of the team can visit your home or office to discuss what shade and grade of tint best suits your needs based on what you are trying to achieve.
If it’s a quick quote you are after to get an idea of costs, simply log onto the Tint N Windows website for an instant on-screen estimate.
“We’re the only tinting company to offer an instant quote on the Sunshine Coast,” says Shannon. “Customers can simply type in their window dimensions and choose a tint and it will give an estimate straight away.”
Most importantly, Shannon says window tinting is an affordable luxury that will enhance your quality of living and their product comes with a lifetime residential warranty for your peace of mind.
To ensure they presented the right image for their business right from the start, Shannon and Brad met with the talented team at What the Fox Creative to launch Tint N Windows professionally.
“What the Fox developed a brand new website for us and did all of our branding as well as our business cards,” says Shannon.
“The branding we had previously wasn’t great, it was a bit of a home job really and we wanted to get it right from the start.
“They have been the ones who have helped and guided us through the whole process on how to drive the website and make any tweaks we needed. They were with us every step of the way with everything we needed digitally.
“We have since gone back to them for additional products and I am booked in to do a social media course with them, which I am really looking forward to.
“They have been excellent to work with, everyone is always available on email or phone, the door is always open and they are so friendly.”
